Description

This is the one you've seen in photos — hundreds of JDM machines lined up under the lights of a highway rest stop, engines ticking, owners talking. Daikoku PA at night is unlike anywhere else on earth. The difference on this tour is how you arrive: not as a visitor who wandered in, but alongside TARZAN YAMADA, in a convoy of cars that belong there. TARZAN YAMADA has been a presence at Daikoku for three decades — people know his name, and that changes what you get to see, who you get to talk to, and how long you'll want to stay. The route winds through Yokohama's streets and, when Daikoku PA is open, rolls in among the cars; if the police have closed it that night, we head to an equally legendary spot nearby. Two to three hours, small group, a vehicle provided by us throughout.

Tour dates are published on our booking calendar — each tour day has a Morning departure at 10:00 and an Afternoon departure at 14:00, and new dates are added regularly. If you don't see a date that works, contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you. All bookings are confirmed upon payment, and a confirmation email is sent right away. Description

Most people sleep through the best hour at Daikoku. The morning crowd is smaller, quieter, and full of people who drove through the night to be there — owners who really know their cars. This cruise starts in Kohoku and runs via Daikoku PA to Yokohama Hammerhead, finishing at the bayfront as the city wakes up. TARZAN YAMADA — a professional racing driver and a familiar face in the early-morning PA scene — leads the route, and knows who parks where and why it matters. A morning drive in a JDM icon, through a city that's still quiet.

Description

Daikoku at dusk is a different place from Daikoku at noon. The light shifts over the bay, the crowd changes, and the cars that appear in the late afternoon are the ones you've only seen in magazines. This cruise starts at Hammerhead, runs through the city streets into Daikoku PA, and finishes at Kohoku as the evening settles in. TARZAN YAMADA — a professional racing driver with decades on the Wangan and a name the Daikoku community already knows — times the route so that, when Daikoku is open, you arrive at exactly the right moment. (Daikoku PA is occasionally closed by the police; if so, we head to an equally good spot nearby.)

Description

Higashi-Ogishima East Park sits on a man-made island in Tokyo Bay — almost nothing there but a flat stretch of road, the water, and the Kawasaki skyline dissolving into the evening. TARZAN YAMADA runs this route out along the Wangan Expressway, times the arrival for the last light, then rolls into Daikoku PA at dusk before heading back. It's the kind of route a racer builds — not the most famous, but exactly right. If you want a drive that looks like a scene from a Video Option tape, this is the one.

Description

A weekday-only premium concept tour built around a private visit to NISMO's Omori Factory — the home of Nissan's motorsport engineering — led by TARZAN YAMADA. From the SAMURAI showroom, cruise the Shuto Expressway to NISMO, then roll into Daikoku PA in the calm of a weekday afternoon, away from the weekend crowds. This plan is currently in discussion with NISMO and details may change.

A day — or half a day — built around exactly what you want to drive and where you want to go. Hakone's mountain roads, the Wangan at night, a lap day at Fuji Speedway or Sodegaura Forest Raceway, a coastal cruise to Kamakura, or something you've had in mind since the first Video Option tape you watched. Tell us the idea, and TARZAN YAMADA — professional racing driver and longtime Wangan insider — will plan and lead a tour built around it. Private tours run with one group only; contact us with your date, group size, destination, and any request, and we'll come back with a plan and a quote.

Eligibility / Required Documents

· Drivers must be 26 or over
· A valid driver's license — one of: (1) a Japanese license, (2) an International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention, or (3) for licenses from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco or Taiwan, your national license plus an official Japanese translation (issued by JAF, or your embassy/consulate in Japan)
· IDPs issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention are not valid in Japan
· Foreign nationals residing in Japan for 3 or more months must hold a Japanese license
· All cars are manual (MT) except the R35 GT-R (automatic). MT driving experience is required for the manual cars — if you can only drive automatic, please tell us at booking
· Non-driving passengers are welcome at any age — please ask us when booking
· Vehicle requests welcome, but the assigned car may change depending on availability on the day

Insurance & Your Liability

· Third-party bodily injury and property damage: unlimited cover
· Occupants (driver and passengers): personal-injury cover up to ¥10,000,000 per person
· Damage to the tour vehicle: your payment is capped — up to ¥150,000 for repairable damage, or ¥1,000,000 if the vehicle is written off. This cap is the most you would pay
· You are responsible for any traffic fines incurred during the tour
· Cover and the cap do not apply if you drive under the influence, without a valid license, or in serious breach of the tour rules or staff instructions

He doesn't just guide the tour; he opens the door to a scene that usually stays closed to outsiders.

Assistant Staff — Accompanies every tour to support the route, handle logistics, and help with translation. English-speaking support is available on most dates. Every tour runs with a two-person team.
