Terms of Use

Article 1 — Scope & Application

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern all tour services provided by SAMURAI PHAT FAST (株式会社 SAMURAI, "the Operator") under the TARZAN YAMADA JDM TOURS brand. By completing a booking, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 — Eligibility

To participate, all of the following conditions must be met:

• · Drivers must be 26 years of age or over
• · Hold a valid driver's license: a Japanese license, or an International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention, or — for licenses from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco or Taiwan — a national license together with an official Japanese translation (issued by JAF, or your embassy/consulate in Japan). IDPs issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention are not valid in Japan
• · Foreign nationals residing in Japan for 3 or more months must hold a Japanese driver's license
• · Most vehicles are manual transmission (MT); only the R35 GT-R is automatic. MT driving experience is required for the manual cars. Guests who can drive automatic only must inform the Operator at the time of booking
• · Not be under the influence of alcohol or any substance that impairs driving ability
• · Be in a physical condition capable of safe vehicle operation

All tours are self-drive; the booked guest operates the vehicle. Non-driving passengers (any age) may join by prior arrangement — please ask at the time of booking.

Article 3 — Booking, Pricing & Payment

• · Standard tour price: ¥99,000 per car, up to 4 guests (tax included)
• · Custom and private tours are priced individually upon request
• · Payment is made in full at the time of booking via Stripe (Visa or Mastercard)
• · Booking is confirmed upon completion of payment
• · Not included: transport to/from the meeting point; food and drinks

Article 4 — Cancellation Policy

• · More than 24 hours before tour start: free cancellation (full refund)
• · Within 24 hours of tour start: full charge, no refund
• · No-show (no contact 15+ min after meeting time): full charge, no refund
• · Mid-tour departure: no refund
• · Refused entry due to ineligibility (no license, suspected alcohol, etc.): no refund
• · Operator-side cancellation (weather, natural disaster, etc.): full refund or rescheduling

Article 5 — Tour Day Rules

Participants are required to follow these rules at all times:

• · Follow all instructions given by the guide and staff
• · Obey all traffic laws and speed limits without exception
• · Maintain convoy spacing (2 seconds urban, 3+ seconds highway)
• · Lane changes and overtaking are permitted only on the lead car's signal
• · No alcohol or substances that impair driving, before or during the tour
• · At Daikoku PA and other stops: no engine revving, no photographing other vehicles without permission, no littering
• · Driver rotation is permitted only at designated safe stops — never while moving

Article 6 — Vehicles

• · The Operator assigns vehicles at its discretion. Requests are welcomed but not guaranteed
• · Vehicle insurance arranged by the Operator covers third-party bodily injury and property damage without limit, and occupants (driver and passengers) for personal injury up to ¥10,000,000 per person
• · In the event of damage to the tour vehicle, the participant’s payment is capped at ¥150,000 for repairable damage, or ¥1,000,000 if the vehicle is written off. This cap is the maximum the participant will be charged for vehicle damage
• · The cap above does not apply where damage results from driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or serious breach of these Terms or staff instructions — in which case the participant bears the full cost
• · Participants are responsible for any traffic fines or penalties incurred during the tour

Article 7 — Photos & Video

• · The Operator records all tours via in-car cameras (GoPro and similar)
• · By completing a booking, participants consent to the Operator's use of photos and videos for SNS and promotional purposes
• · Participants who wish to opt out must notify staff on tour day
• · Driving footage is delivered to the registered email address within 3–5 business days of the tour

Article 8 — Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited. Violations may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund:

• · Driving under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance
• · Speeding, reckless driving, or aggressive driving
• · Harassment of other participants, local community members, or staff
• · Photographing other people's vehicles or persons without permission
• · Littering
• · Any conduct that violates applicable law or causes disturbance to others

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

• · Tours operate on public roads. Participants bear responsibility for traffic violations, and for accidents caused by their own negligence — subject to the vehicle-damage liability cap set out in Article 6
• · The Operator is not liable for delays or schedule changes caused by traffic, weather, road or facility closures (including closure of Daikoku PA), or vehicle trouble
• · The Operator is not liable for loss or damage to participants' personal belongings
• · A summary of insurance coverage is set out in Article 6; further details are available upon request

Article 10 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Yokohama District Court as the court of first instance.

In the event of any inconsistency between the Japanese and English versions of these Terms, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 11 — Amendments

The Operator may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect upon publication on the official website. Material changes will be communicated on the site where reasonably practicable.
